A nonprofit organization, whose primary mission is to provide economic relief to disadvantaged, at-risk families.

I AM CHOSEN Foundation is a nonprofit organization, located in Glassboro, New Jersey. Being a staple in the community since 2012, the foundation’s primary mission is to provide economic relief to disadvantaged at-risk families nationwide, through programs that include education, mentorships, training, counseling, and transitional homes. We endeavor to help men and women grow up, stand up, and take their rightful place in the home. We will continue to change them, day by day, one man and woman at a time, so that our families will be restored, our communities will be healed, and our nation will be saved.

Family is the most important building block for a successful future. As the saying goes “it takes a village to raise a child.” By reinforcing the family structure in the midst of abuse and poverty like conditions, we will impact a great number of people. Underlying poverty and the lack of access to equal opportunity is the catalyst which leads to most inner-city crime. The victims of crime often become the victimizer. I AM CHOSEN Foundation will be on the frontline, ready and willing to do whatever it takes to break the cycle. Most effective problem-solving actions must start within.

WHAT WE DO

— We Find Homes

Transitional homes are used to protect and house our client and their families from any hazardous or high-risk conditions, including but not limited to poverty, abuse, and crime.

— We Build Networks

Having a support system is critical to not only gaining the help needed, but sustaining relationships. Volunteering or attending one of our events is greatly encouraged to help strengthen the bonds needed to be successful.

— We Strengthen

Mentorships are extremely important as we exercise good modeling techniques, as well as big brother/big sister, and families adopting families.

— We Educate

Education is crucial. Providing scholarships and tutoring has become a cornerstone of who we are and the communities we are building.

— We Provide Care

The Connect to Family and Connect to Wellbeing program seeks to achieve permanency, social connections, and emotional wellbeing for youth.

— We Counsel

Counseling and venting sessions are some of the most critical concentrations of our operation, because that will help get our client out of that apprehensive mind-state and start fresh.
